Spalted Elm Dish

Side dish in spalted English elm with a whole lot of figure and character in the grain. Dark, chocolate browns interact with creamy yellow in this eye-catching little piece. 

I very seldom work with elm, making this dish very unique amongst recent experiments. The grain was a little chewy in parts, keeping this object mostly within the functional.
