Spalted Beech Platter

Flirtatiously splashes of colour and character spread across a gorgeous slab of beech. Felled and milled by a friend in Fife, this platter brings a serious aesthetic game and will spark up conversations at any dinner party.

A naturally occurring split developed in the drying process (see photos). As such, this platter is recommended for dry foods (especially fruit) only.

Unless you’d like to call it an art piece.
