Spalted Beech Fruit Bowl

Fruit bowl in sturdy, biscuit-brown beech with a crescent moon of spalting around one edge. With the natural flashes of black and butter contrast a deep, golden brown across the surface of this modern-rustic one-off. 

I work with beech very infrequently, owing to my lack of a source I can trace and trust for sustainability. This fruit bowl is unique to everything else I have made of late. 

Would suit an open, considered modern kitchen space wherever you take it to; city or country.
