Oak Fodder Bowl (Experiment ii)

Fodder Bowl in English oak with visually pleasing golden medullary rays. Chocolatey grains just around the rim give way to creamy-biscuit brown around the belly of the bowl. An accentuated foot allows the bowl to be clasped between the fingers, letting you get stuck into something hearty and wholesome.

The wood started to split ever so slightly and it dried. I filled the splits with epoxy to halt any further movement and restore the bowl’s functionality. 

This is not my usual approach and was something of an experiment. The Fodder Bowl is massively marked down in price for this reason.
