London Plane Dish ii

An experiment in working with smaller hauls of wood, this open and widened dish in London plane is simple and functional in design. The raised foot gives it a presence on the table despite its austere form. 

Deep reddish brown grains ripple their way to a hint of lacewood on the rim. Stylish but chilled.
