Euston Plane Salad Bowl

Cookie-brown, soft grey and ochre-red grains mix and match together in this characterful and charming bowl. Turned in London plane from Euston Station, this design is bolder and simpler than previous work.

Ideal for small salads or fruit. Naturally occurring splits in the timber were sealed using dust from the wood itself. This adds strength whilst incorporating an organic process into the design as a whole.

A charming piece that could just as well sit as modern-rustic decor also.

Finished with natural tung oil. NB: Tung oil can retain its nutty odour for a while depending on airflow and temperature. This will wear off with time and is just part and parcel of finishing with natural products.
