Euston Plane Fruit Bowl
Turned from one of the victims of the HS2 rail project, this London plane timber was salvaged from Euston Station and is full of character.
Black spalting plays next to red-grey grains, whilst crimson pipping (the clusters of tiny knots) give the bowl an almost interstellar, galactic appearance.
A truly special piece of wood from an iconic green space in Central London, now since eradicated in the name of ‘progress’.
27.5 x 6cm
Finished with food safe, tasteless and odourless mineral oil. For advice on caring for your bowl, please see the ‘Care’ section located on the homepage.
