English Oak Experimental Cup

An experimental form inspired by chawan teabowls of Japanese tea ceremonies.  The angles in this design were a new venture in the creative process. As such, this piece truly is a one-off.

Turned from noble English oak, it handles heat well and balances a refined finish with robust material. This experimental piece would make a unique coffee cup for your morning wake-up. Given its unique design, it would also become a talking point as a condiments bowl at a dinner party.
