Ealing Ash Little Bowl

An experimental piece turned from an off-cut of black ash that grew in Ealing, West London. Waves of caramel gold flow into chocolate brown in a mesmerising display of the grain. This bowl would make a perfect little salt cellar.

Please note that a woodworm beat me to this slab of ash (see photos). Whilst this is obviously part of a natural process, the piece is marked down for this reason.
