London Plane Companion Bowl

Feather-light and tactile, this small bowl in London plane is delicate, charming and functional. A crimson knot and gold-red lacewood add character and personality. Salvaged from one of the London planes felled outside Euston station for the HS2 project, the story of the tree lives on in the object. Slight split in the knot (see photos) is natural and part of the material.
