London Plane Bowl

An extremely exciting piece of wood turned from an extremely special London plane tree. There is no stopping the beauty of the grains here.

Striking gold and red lacewood is tucked up against streaks of cream and olive green. This bowl was turned thin and elegant to add a sense of grace to the raw functionality.

The design-led aesthetic of this work blurs the line between utilitarianism and art.
