London Plane Bowl

A really visually engaging piece of my favourite tree, executed with an elegant and design-led aesthetic. A line of crimson pips leads to a distinctive pink band speckled with gorgeous lacewood and an organically occurring knot.

This piece dances along the boundary of functional and art object. The knot restricts its functionality to dry goods, but the design and elegance elevate the work to another level.
