Euston Plane Fruit Bowl
Couldn't load pickup availability
Stripes of cookie-brown heartwood and ethereal black spalting are dotted by crimson knots. Turned with a deliberately chunkier base than others, this fruit bowl will be both a modest servant and a bit of a show-off at the same time.
Tiny little split developed in the seasoning process but these have been sealed in a way that means they were split further whilst still blending in with the rest of the timber.
Salvaged from the felling of the London planes from outside Euston Station, this bowl is turned with respect for the tree and purpose in function.
23 x 6cm
Finished with food safe, tasteless and odourless mineral oil. For advice on caring for your bowl, please see the ‘Care’ section located on the homepage.
